Vodka

Vodka is a generally colorless spirit, usually distilled from fermented grain. It usually has an alcohol content of between 35-60%, with Russian Vodka having a strength of 40%. There are many different brands and types of Vodka, each with their own methods of distillation but the general idea, however, is to achieve a pure alcohol/water mix with as little else in the Vodka as possible.

And because Vodka is just alcohol and water, it means it is a great spirit to use with cocktails, as it's lack of taste and familiar bite make it an excellent companion to soft drinks. Most alcopops contain Vodka like WKD Blue or VK
