The Trafalgar is a Lloyd's No. 1 bar branded Wetherspoons pub in Portsmouth.

Pretty damn cool and funky, with a slightly bizarre interior, which contains a range of types of seating, from sofas, to bar stools.

The music selection can sometimes be pretty bad, and also (depending where you sit) rather muffled sounding.

There is a non-smoking area upstairs, which is a bonus.

The Trafalgar is quite a busy pub, frequented by a wide range of people, with a large number of business people at lunch time, and early evening.

Bar staff seem to be generally friendly, with an occasional habit of making remarks about having two shots of Goldschlager early in the morning. The also have a tendency to want to see ID.

Food at the Trafalgar is medium priced, but the portions are not overly generous, especially for instance compared to The Fleet.

Prices at the Trafalgar are (like other Wetherspoons) not the cheapest, but not expensive either. The prices are also quite standard, so there aren't usually any nasty surprises.
