Pour the Tequila shots into the glass and top up with Orange Juice almost to the top, then add the Grenadine by carefully tipping the glass, putting the end of the Grenadine bottle right to the edge as if pouring a beer, then quickly flick the grenadine bottle up so a generous amount slides down the side of the glass under the orange juice, creating the famous sunset gradient in the drink (see picture).
